The purpose of the UCC is to deepen and broaden the relationship between Lenoir-Rhyne University, the City of Hickory, and their students and residents.  The focus is on growing the student body's presence and interaction in the community and increasing the young adult population in Hickory, while enhancing the collegiate atmosphere and promoting school pride throughout the community. 

This board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of even numbered months from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at City Hall in the Third Floor Conference Room.
