Schedule and service updates for Tuesday

Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, several City of Hickory facilities and services will be impacted on Tuesday, Jan. 27. 

Facility Hours
Hickory Public Library branches (Patrick Beaver Memorial main facility and Ridgeview Branch) will be open modified hours of 12-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27. Highland and Ridgeview recreation centers will be open from 12-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27. All other Hickory recreation centers will remain closed.

Solid Waste Services
Residential solid waste collection will be suspended again on Tuesday, Jan. 27, but limited commercial routes will run on Tuesday. Conditions will be reassessed on Tuesday, and updates will be provided regarding collection for the remainder of the week.
