Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism to host Autism Awareness Fun Walk

To celebrate Autism Awareness Month, the City of Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Department is hosting the annual Autism Awareness Fun Walk at Winkler Park on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Participation in this event is free, but donations are accepted at https://tinyurl.com/autismawarenesswalk. All proceeds will be used to purchase sensory bags for Highland Recreation Center and benefit We Rock the Spectrum of Hickory.

All who choose to donate will be entered into a raffle to win a prize. Those who donate prior to March 15 will receive an event t-shirt.

Winkler Park is located at 2500 Clement Blvd NW in Hickory.
