Downtown intersection to close for public utilities work

Beginning on Friday, June 20, the intersection of First Avenue SW and Third Street SW will be closed for the replacement of a sanitary sewer manhole. Weather permitting, this work may take up to three days to complete. Detour routes will be established and clearly marked. Please slow down and exercise caution when traveling through this area so crews can return home safely each night.
