Catawba Valley Youth Soccer Association
The City of Hickory is very fortunate to have a partnership with the Catawba Valley Soccer Association (CVYSA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and affiliate member of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association. CVYSA was founded in 1998 and includes all levels of play in youth soccer and has an adult program too. CVYSA brought together several small soccer organizations in the Catawba Valley region. This consolidation resulted in more opportunities for the area’s youth to participate in soccer at the recreational, youth development academy, and classic levels. CVYSA's home fields are located at the Pepsi Regional Soccer Complex at Hickory's Henry Fork River Park.
