Bright Star Theatre to perform at the Ridgeview Branch Library

Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theatre company based in Asheville, NC, is visiting the Ridgeview Branch Library on Wednesday, November 16, at 4:30 p.m. with their new show, Cherokee Tales.

The Cherokee People have a rich history of myths, legends, and folktales explaining everything from the creation of the world to how the plants and animals around us came to look and behave the way they do today. This play introduces audiences to the Cherokee People through a series of fun and engaging stories. Developed in partnership with the Cherokee Historical Association.

Ridgeview Branch Library is located at 706 1st Street SW, at the corner of 1st Street and 7th Avenue SW, beside the Ridgeview Recreation Center. All library programs are free and open to the public.
