Hickory Police search for suspect

The driver of the motorcycle involved in the incident on September 8, 2023, has been identified by Hickory Police as Chanceler Timothy Johnson, 24. Investigators have obtained warrants for his arrest.

Johnson is charged with two counts of felony elude arrest in motor vehicle causing death.

Investigators believe Johnson to be traveling in a silver Hyundai Sonata with the license plate number KER-1082. He may be in the company of Cheyene Faith Raines, 21.
