Bring your family and friends to the library to hear new stories and explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) through hands-on tinkering in this storytime meant for all ages. This month we’ll learn about dragons with some fiery stories and great activities.
Family-Teens — 1st Thursdays ROCK at the Ridgeview library. Children of Ridgeview, we want to celebrate you as we learn about monthly gemstones! All are welcomed to celebrate birthdays, do crafts, make snacks, learn and have a great time!
Adults— The fourth day of Kwanza is Ujamaa. Come and support black creatives and business owners by making your own headband with their products. Registration is required and will open three weeks before the event.
All ages— Join the library with your friends, family, and the community to celebrate Kwanzaa. April C. Turner will perform stories, songs, and dances demonstrating the principles and symbols of the Kwanzaa celebration.
Teens & Adults— Learn to sew a simplistic stuffed doll from two socks that’s customizable to fit the style of the one it's for. This sewing project is beginner friendly. Registration is required and will open three weeks before the event.
