Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition; it is now practiced as a graceful form of exercise that can help to increase flexibility and balance. Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing. Free Play Basketball for ages 16 and up! Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A high-energy cardiovascular workout! Participants have total control of resistance and intensity levels of their workout. New participants should arrive at class at least 15 minutes early to ensure proper set-up on the bike. Towel and water bottle are suggested! $2 Residents, $4 Non-Residents (To be paid at the time of class)
Free Play Basketball for all ages. All participants will need to sign a waiver before playing and anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian signature.
Free Play Indoor Table Tennis open to anyone ages 15 and up will be offered on Mondays from 5:00 pm-8:30 pm. This will be a drop-in-pick-up style program, located at Highland Recreation Center. No registration is required! For more information, please contact Yadil Sanchez at (828) 261-2251.
