A high-energy cardiovascular workout! Participants have total control of resistance and intensity levels of their workout. New participants should arrive at class at least 15 minutes early to ensure proper set-up on the bike. Towel and water bottle are suggested! $2 Residents, $4 Non-Residents (To be paid at the time of class)  

Writing Workshop: Writing Fearlessly

Adult – Don’t let fear hold you back from writing your story! Gloria Coppola, award winning local author and educator, will teach a writing workshop about letting go of the fear of failure and putting pen to paper. Registration required and will open three weeks before the event.

Beginner Yoga (Thurs)

A yoga practice of mindfulness, meditation, and movement with modifications is offered for each participant to lessen or increase levels of strength, stretching, and balance. Please contact instructor Cynthia Haas at 828-295-2319 for more information! $5.00 per class

Easy Tai Chi (Fri)

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition; it is now practiced as a graceful form of exercise that can help to increase flexibility and balance. Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing.
