Wear your pajamas and slippers to the library on the second Thursday of the month for tales before bed, a time to get the last jitters out by joining us for an evening of adventure through story time and interactive songs-ninja style.
A yoga practice of mindfulness, meditation, and movement with modifications is offered for each participant to lessen or increase levels of strength, stretching, and balance. Please contact instructor Cynthia Haas at 828-295-2319 for more information! $5.00 per class
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition; it is now practiced as a graceful form of exercise that can help to increase flexibility and balance. Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing.
