STEAM Explorers: Matters of the Heart

We’ll do some hands-on activities to explore the different elements of blood and learn the important part your heart plays in your circulatory system. For children in Grades K-5. This is part of our Heart-a-Thon program series which runs February 6-11.

Soundscapes with Britton-René Collins

All Ages— Join award-winning percussionist Britton-René Collins on a sound exploration through contemporary and multidimensional percussion works. This program embraces contrast, variety, and the magical sound possibilities of percussion. This program is 60-minutes in length and is presented in partnership with Western Piedmont Symphony. All ages are welcome. 

Writing Workshop: Writing Fearlessly

Adult – Don’t let fear hold you back from writing your story! Gloria Coppola, award winning local author and educator, will teach a writing workshop about letting go of the fear of failure and putting pen to paper. Registration required and will open three weeks before the event.
